A better demo starts with a real job.
Use one representative backflow job to evaluate software. Bring an assembly record, a blank authority form and the steps your office follows today.
Request a demoBefore the demo
Write down your current process from the first customer call to the final submission. Include the tools involved, who uses them and where work regularly stalls.
- List your municipalities and water providers
- Choose a representative assembly and test type
- Count the people who need access
- Identify your current customer data format
During the demo
Ask the presenter to follow the whole job. Start with the customer, location and assembly. Schedule the visit, enter readings, review the populated PDF, create the invoice and inspect the submission state. Ask what happens if the technician saves a draft or the report needs a correction.
Before you subscribe
Confirm form coverage individually. Request the complete commercial terms, setup requirements and expected timing. Ask which features rely on a separate provider account and which fees are outside the software subscription.
Before migrating records
Ask for a preview and validation step. Review how customers, service locations and assemblies will be represented. Start with a sample export from your current system; do not send passwords or live customer records through a public inquiry form.
Keep an exit plan
Check who owns the operational data, what can be exported and whether generated documents are included. An exit plan makes it easier to evaluate a system on its merits.
