BackflowCore

The report workflow after the field visit.

A technician can finish the test while the office still has several steps to complete. Make each handoff visible so a finished visit does not disappear into a pile of unfinished paperwork.

Keep the test attached to its assembly

Start with a consistent customer, location and assembly record. Device identifiers, account details and authority context make the later report easier to review.

Separate completion from approval

Field submission means the readings are ready for office attention. Report approval means the document has been checked. Keeping those states separate helps the team identify the next action.

Review the actual document

Inspect the populated report rather than relying only on the input screen. Check that the configured form matches the intended authority and that the relevant customer, assembly and test details are present.

Check the payment and delivery path

Follow your business’s payment policy and the authority’s submission requirements. Some providers accept emailed PDFs; others require an external portal. A software queue does not change those requirements.

Keep the exception visible

A failed delivery, correction request or unpaid invoice needs an owner and a next action. BackflowCore’s linked report, invoice and submission workflow gives office staff that operational context. Ask us to demonstrate a normal job and an exception side by side.
